A step-by-step guide for first time users of on-line shopping at The Homestore Merivale
· Click shop on the main menu.
· Go to the left hand browse menu.
· Select a shop department or go to the product search at the bottom of the browse menu.
· In the product search box enter the type of product i.e. grater or name of a product i.e. microplane, and click the search button.

· Click the product details link or the image.
· In the product details page click the view full size image link.
You are now ready to purchase
· Select the quantity required by entering the number in the quantity box below the product.
· Click the add to cart button, this will take you to view the contents of your shopping cart.
· If other items are required click the continue shopping link otherwise, if you have finished shopping, click the checkout link.
. At this point dont arrow back. This will cause the webpage to expire. If this happens just high-light the web address and enter.
Check the quantity and proceed to checkout.
You are now in the checkout shipping address section
First time users
· You will be asked to provide your billing/delivery information.
· Fill out the form and click the send registration button. For future use a username and password will be sent to you via the email address you provided. After registering, you will be automatically logged into the site, you can continue with your shopping
· click the next button
If you wish to send the item to an address other than your billing address
· Click the add a new shipping address link under the shipping information section
· Fill out the form and click the save button
· Under the shipping information section click the radio button next to the address you want the item delivered to.
· Click the next button.
You are now in the ship methods section
Please note: freight charges are at cost to us charged by our courier company. If you wish, you can arrange your own pickup and delivery.
· In the list of freight methods click the radio button next to guest to pickup and let us know you are making your own freight arrangements by entering the details in the notes box (found on the final confirmation page).
· Otherwise pick the desired freight method and choose the appropriate area.
For online shoppers
· For online shoppers who wish to pay and collect in store; click hold in store.
Once the freight method has been chosen
· Click the next button.
You are now in the in the payment method section
If all your details are correct
· Select your desired payment method
· Click the next button
You are now in the complete order section
Check all the details are correct, if not click on the appropriate section above the cart list and change the details, otherwise
· Click the confirm order button
· If paying in store; see the thank you for your order message, then click; follow this link to view your order. Print off a copy for your records.
· If paying by credit card; click Visa/MasterCard and follow the banks instructions.
