Classic white
You can't go wrong with white! When choosing dinnerware select a set that you can use everyday, that looks good and is practical. Look to see if the pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe and whether they are chip resistant. You don't want a nasty surprise each time you open the dishwasher!
Think about choosing a set that you can customise - ie if you don't want entrée plates or rimmed soup bowls, is there a wide choice of pieces like pasta bowls and rice bowls you can get instead? How you entertain (formal/casual)? What number of people do you normally cook for? When selecting cutlery, think about what other tableware you already have or are choosing for your list. If you have selected modern/simplistic dinnerware, don't choose traditional/ornate cutlery.
The big thing with cutlery is to think about design and functionality. With our busy lifestyles, functionality is very important. All our cutlery is 18/10 stainless steel which is rust resistant and dishwasher safe. Forget about polishing silver!!
Good quality stainless steel cutlery that is well designed will last for a long time so choose a design that is classic. Also check with us about availability of other accessories such as salad servers. Canteens are usually more economical and normally come in either 6 place or 8 place settings, although if you want to build up a set slowly, individual cutlery is a good way to go. Check that the cutlery you have chosen is an ongoing range and if extra place settings can be ordered.

Glassware can be either formal or casual and can be split into two categories: stemware (glasses on a stem such as wine glasses) or barware (glasses such as tumblers.)
When choosing glassware take into consideration what you have chosen in dinnerware and cutlery and pick a design that will match. Also think about whether you want an everyday set and a good set and how many people you normally have around so that you can decide on the quantity. Check with us about continuity of a pattern.
